Day 10: Star

Lilly decided, for once, to go out camping! It had been a while since her last camping trip, so she thought she was well overdue for another one. The weather was perfect for it, after all! She only planned to camp out for one night, but with the several friends of hers that she invited, she thought that to be more than enough fun with what all she was excited to get to do with them. Campfire stories, smores, roasting food over an open flame, doing some other various nature-related activities such as swimming and all... And most importantly, the idea she had for a fun little contest for them all-- and it all lied in the stars! A fun little constellation-counting game, and the winner would get first dibs on the candy she'd be bringing to the event. She got everything packed and ready to go, then heading out and beginning the process of meeting with her friends and heading to their pre-planned campsite. The activities of the night went about as well as one could expect from a group of excitable, fun-loving scarfoxes-- a bit messy and silly, but responsibly and fun enough for everyone to have a blast. Then came the final activity of the night-- the fated constellation-spotting game! Lilly had to study up a bit more on stars prior to the event as she was the one hosting it, but she knew enough about what constellations would be visible this night at this time of the year, and as she looked to the sky... she smiled, explained everything, and shouted, "Start!" Her friends then immediately looked to the sky as well, some a bit clueless while some pointed out different constellations and listed them off. The fun chaos of it all made her laugh as she enjoyed the starry night sky and their company, the contest finally coming to an end when nobody could point out any new constellations. In the end, all had a fun time, and the winner certainly enjoyed their first dibs on the spoils.
