Day 7: Books

Lilly had just gotten home from a nice day at work. A few customers that simply perused the shop's stock, with a few extra actually buying some things. A couple even talked with her about some shared interest in antiques, as well as her favorite stuff in the world-- spooky stuff. She had one such conversation towards the end of her shift, with it only serving to fuel her itch to dig out one of her favorite ghost story books from her collection of similarly-themed books. She eagerly came up to her bookcase, it only taking her a moment to find her favorite book before she went to lie down on her couch. She carefully opened the somewhat older book-- one that contained many different ghostly-related stories from many different foxes-- and proceeded to thoughtfully flip through the pages. Would she read a haunting tale? A sighting tale? A hunting tale? She could hardly decide! Unable to make up her mind, she simply focused off the book and let her hands choose a random place in the book, which resulted in her landing right on the beginning page of an exhilarating ghost hunt tale she had read a couple times before. Happy with her random choice, she settled down a bit more on her couch before reading the story late into the night.
