The silence of the entire room was all she could hear. A few taps, papers turning, and writing occurred once in a while- filling the quiet room as if they were the loudest sounds in the world. A ruby-haired Scarfox wandered down an aisle, books along bookcases covering every possible spot- genres listed along the ends of the cases. 

Clarine, in all honesty, was a bit overwhelmed. She had never seen a library before, as she did not have any in the Circus, other than a book or few lying around- though so old the layer of dust atop them belonged in a museum. 

 

Once more, her hair was messy and her eyes were droopy- the constant working she is put to every day of the week except a single day boring into her soul. Clarine stopped in front of the end of a bookcase- eyes glossing over the written words on a printed piece of paper.

 

"Language?" She questioned out loud, earning herself quiet shushing from nearby humans sitting at round tables. She tensed, whipping her head around and gesturing an apology. 

Looking away- she quickly skittered down the aisle to avoid the embarrassment of being too loud in such a quiet environment. Dancing along the aisles, numerous books to textbooks sat securely along the cases- though at every second they felt as if they would tumble and collapse atop of Clarine. 

 

She approached a shelf, leaning a hand out and grabbing a large textbook- sliding it out of its spot, though only for her to nearly dropping it to the floor- its weight entirely unexpected. She let out a startled gasp in response. 

 

"Heavy!" She whimpered.
