Noir’s Journal, Excursion Two

Hello again! To whoever may be reading this here journal, today, just like the last, has been quite an adventure. This time my day was open, so I went out to be with Brii. She had told me her friend, Grand Endeavor, hasn’t been able to come out for a while, she says she has not seen him in a number of days, but he hasn’t said much to her. I haven’t officially met Endeavor just yet, I am not sure why. Brii hasn’t really told me much about him except he’s blind. She seemed a little down about it, and asked me to hang out with her today. I didn’t at all have a problem with it though, It’s rare I get to fully wander around with Brii, so I thought today would be a good one. I was not sure where she would lead me, but wherever it may be I was hoping for something interesting to happen. Finding the god Poseidon again perhaps? Anyway before we left for the day, Brii insisted we eat breakfast first at my place, of course I said, but where else would it be? She lives here..maybe she just missed being with her friend. Brii wandered around my study room chansing Gia while I Prepared a meal. Gia has grown fond of her it seems, I suppose Brii is a gem of a fox..it’s just hard for me to express it is all. I am sure she knows that though. Well I made for us, a simple egg breakfast with some fruits on the side, we both ate and enjoyed quite well. I always enjoy cooking for others, it’s not often I can provide for loved ones. After we finished our meal we headed out the door, Brii asked if she could carry Gia with us. Originally I was going to let it rest, but maybe it was better for it to get some sun, so I allowed it. Gia happily nestled itself within Brii’s scarf. I still have not figured out if her arms are the scarf or is she hiding her real limbs? It’s an odd question that is going to be kept to myself for now. Brii wished to go towards the coast again, so that is where we headed, this time we took a different route through the woods. I thought I could catch up on my studies of this world’s plant and animal life. And maybe it would help lift Brii out of her sadness. She stared mostly at Gia as she walked beside me, so I went towards a small flower field since I knew she liked them, it was full of different colored flowers. I called to Brii so she would look up, which she did finally, Gia as well and I saw a faint smile creep across her face as she walked towards the flowers. She just sort of sat in them for a minute and then picked one, it was pink, then tucked it right in her hair near her ear. It was nice, she seemed to like it because she got a little more chipper and thanked me for taking her there. I smiled too, for once I did something good to her, not that I have not already. From there we headed forward to the coast, a few times we stopped because we saw a creature im the distance, or a nice looking flower. Finally we made it to the beach and instantly Brii ran into the water and splashed around a bit before suddenly dunking her entire head under the water. Which alarmed me, so I ran to pick her up out of the water and asked what she was doing. She told me she was looking for poseidon before shaking off the water, getting me and Gia wet. Poseidon? I asked, she had seen him as well? I thought I had been the only one. Ah well, It must've been nice to see him for real too. I said not to dunk her head in the water again, for one she can’t see in the water, and two, I don’t think that’s how you call for a god..Even then he still suddenly rose out of the water in a majestic like way and landed in front of Brii. She smiled brightly and gasped, I stayed back and simply looked. Poseidon then came to me and greeted me as well. Brii immediately asked if he was searching for an outfit again, and he nodden, he seemed surprised that she already knew what he wanted. But I asked why he would need more if he had gotten something from us both, he said he just wanted more land things to wear. I didn’t question it, and Brii happily nodded and asked what he would have wanted. So of course, we headed right to the clothing shops once more, Brii had seemed fully out of her sadness as she helped the god find some more clothing. Which, I thought was kind of funny still. She took him to a shop that sold sun hats and put a blue one with shells on one of his ears, which he seemed to like to my surprise, it looked a little hard to keep on do to his many horns, after that I followed them to a shoe store, which I had no idea we had. Maybe I should come out more, there's a lot of places I have not heard of nor been to. Anywho we looked around and me and Brii picked out some nice looking sandals for him, they were pink with little wave patterns on the base. Poseidon himself picked out a shell necklace, so we bought him those items and walked out. Then we headed back towards the beach, it was sunset. Poseidon thanked us both for finding him land clothes again, then he went back into the water with a wave, Brii looked up at me with a bright smile and hugged me. She thanked me for bringing her out here once more to look for Posiedon, I did too and we walked back home and talked about the whole experience until finally making it back home, from then on we continued to talk. The day, very much a success for me, Brii was happy again, I told her to give Endeavor some time to rest, and that he’d be back soon. Once Again she hugged me and said she would rather stay here with me for awhile, it was good enough for me.
