A Scarfox version of my OC, Mochi.

As one might gather from Mochi's appearance, he is absolutely a jester.  Y'all know me and what I'm into by now, this should not be surprising.  It should also not be surprising that the entire reason I purchased his design is because he's a jester with a night theme/motif.  I am weak for things that remind me of my husband, this isn't anything new lmao.

Originally created and sold as a fan character/fandom OC for The Amazing Digital Circus, Mochi (not as his Scarfox form) DOES fit that role, but he also fills the role of a standalone OC who hangs out inside of a developing world with Percy and Polysemy.  He is Percy's BFF, and the two can often be found running around together on adventures (usually, Mochi has felt the need to cause trouble, and Percy is either trying to keep him in line or has chosen to embrace the chaos and is being a bad influence lmao).  This Scarfox form is only one of several alternate forms I have planned for him, and I don't have any intentions of trading or selling him so it's fine.

Mochi is… A complex character personality-wise. On one hand, I see him being this slippery, antagonistic little brat who loves to annoy others and get a rise out of them, but on the other hand, I also see him being a very gentle soul at his core who cares deeply about his friends and wouldn't hesitate to get his hands dirty if it meant protecting them. Trying to find the balance between both versions is tough, and I guess it really comes down to the people around him at the moment. In a room full of strangers? Absolute gremlin. Hanging out with his closest friends? Soft binch.  His true personality shines the most when he's alone with Percy, and there's a reason the springy cat trusts Mochi as much as he does.

One thing is for certain, even at his worst, his pranks and shenanigans never get to the point of hurting other people. As well, he's more observant than people often realize, and though he says little most times and plays aloof to disarm others, the things done or said around him don't go unnoticed and he doesn't forget things easily. He doesn't retain information on others with intentional malice or the desire to blackmail, but should someone push his buttons one too many times, he's definitely not above using their secrets against them to gain the higher ground, either.

That's all I have so far. Still waiting to see how his personality expands.  'Cause, you know, the OCs develop themselves rather than being molded into shape by me.  His Scarfox form maintains the same personality and gremlin energy of his humanoid form, and much of the same behavior.  Mochi is a friendly character by nature, despite being a brat at times, so by all means, draw him interacting with your Scarfox(es) if you want.  I don't mind making frienship links for him either, but he is canonically paired with Percy so I'm not looking for any romantic partners or interactions!  Enemies and Frenemies, I'm "meh" about.  Can have 'em, but don't really care about them.

…His name is Mochi, because the white face he has reminds me of those mochi dumplings.  The urge to bite his cheek is so strong…
