Caelum & Nychthemeron

On the surface, Caelum is a bright and colorful Scarfox with an equally bright disposition.  He's energetic, adventurous, and generally good natured.  He has a sense of humor and likes to pull the occasional prank, but it's all in good fun and (usually) his pranks tend to backfire on him so others are seldom affected.  Despite his mischief, he's a caring friend and tries his best to comfort or console others who are hurting, but he also understands personal boundaries and will respect someone's wishes to be left alone if asked.  He can be a bit aloof at times, though, and some of his friends have described him as a "heart of gold, but dumb of ass" type of individual.  Still, he tries his hardest, and he's doing his best.  If he messes up, he's resilient enough to brush himself off and promise to get it right next time, and that's a promise he makes sure to fulfill every time.

He fully remembers his past life and the death that led to his reincarnation as a Scarfox, and while he's sad about what happened, he takes it in stride and sees his new life as a brand new adventure - the next chapter, so to speak.  He takes great pride in his Scarfox form and enjoys his new life and capabilities.

In a general sense, he loves a lot of aesthetics, but his go-to preferences are anything 80s or retro, neon arcade, and soft urban things.  He has a penchant for day and night aesthetics as well, due to his theme, and often collects fabric or embroidered patches, pins, buttons, and other accessories that fit his tastes.  He adores hoodies, jackets, and sneakers, and he's seldom seen without them on his person, though the style and color may occasionally vary from day to day.  He also loves music, video games, and exercise/physical activity.  He enjoys going for walks or short jogs, but can occasionally be found speeding around on a skateboard or scooter.

However, the brightness of the day is always accompanied by the dark of the night, and just like his arms depict the different times of day, so exists another side of the energetic fluffball.  Answering to the name of Nychthemeron (or Nycht for convenience), this personality seems to show up in the evening and spends his time wandering the quiet streets or stargazing in solitude.  Unlike Caelum, Nychthemeron is more serious and reclusive in behavior, and he's often seen far more than he's heard.  Contrasting to Caelum's energy and itch to move around, Nycht feels more comfortable spending extended periods of time in a single location before moving on to the next.

Just as Caelum has his interests, Nycht does too.  The nighttime persona is fond of collecting photos, particularly sunsets or places he's visited that made him happy, and he shows a mild - but growing - interest in entomology (much to Caelum's dismay).  Beyond this, not much else is known about him, as even his friends don't really get to spend much time with him.  It is known, however, that he shares Caelum's fondness for music.
